What makes the Calli Spanish School Unique Exceptional ?
All of us learn in different ways. The staff of Calli Spanish school's staff has decades of experience teaching Spanish to foreigners. Much of that experience was with seniors and older students. Using that experience we have created a special school to meet the unique learning needs of this age group.
Custom-made Courses
Here at Calli Spanish School we know that there is no such thing as a fixed text book or material that works for every student. That is why we have custom-made material that we put together in personalized packages each week to create a course based on your progress and needs. Each week the teachers and staff meet to prepare the next weeks material.
Moving At Your Pace
The biggest challenge in all Spanish schools, even the great ones, is matching groups of students to their own pace of learning. A 19 year old may want to learn at a different pace from a 65 year old. Here at Calli Spanish School we only work with older adults (50+) which allows us to keep the pace of each class more consistent for all students.
Cultural Activities
Spanish is not only learned in a classroom. We have a unique educational system that mixes classroom study with real world Spanish practice. Each week of class consists of four days of classroom lessons with one day of active lessons. In active lessons the students are taken out into the city to use their Spanish in a real world context.

Why is our school named "Calli"?
Calli represents the "home" on the Aztec Caledar. It represents a day that is best spent building relationships and cultivating mutual interests. This is what we try to do at our school. We keep the number of students on any given week low (maximum 10-15 students in total) which allows the student to build close relationships with all the other students and to cultivate the mutual interest of learning Spanish.
